Rebecca Shafir, M.A., CCC
Rebecca Shafir, M.A., CCC, is a certified and licensed speech/language pathologist and neurotherapist with Cerulli and Associates in North Andover, MA. After 15 years at the Lahey Clinic as the Chief of Speech/Language Pathology she joined forces with Dr. Edward Hallowell as a clinician and Director of Business Development at the Hallowell center in Sudbury, MA. She is the author of over 25 articles on communication, the award-winning book, The Zen of Listening: Mindful Communication In The Age Of Distraction (Quest Books 2000) and contributing author Mindfulness and the Therapeutic Relationship (Guilford Press 2008).
At Cerulli & Associates she provides a variety of alternative and highly effective interventions for children and adults with ADD, Learning difficulties, anxiety, depression, and migraines. These include LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System), Heartmath (stress reduction biofeedback), Cogmed Working Memory Training and other cognitive fitness modalities.
Rebecca provides executive voice coaching and seminars on mindful listening to organizations and corporations nationwide. She has appearned on national radio and TV sharing her practical and authentic approach for improving communication at home and in the workplace.
