Rina Cerulli

Rina Cerulli is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a BS degree in Civil Engineering. She has many years of professional experience with several engineering consulting firms, bringing a real world perspective to her current positions as a secondary school licensed mathematics instructor, SAT tutor, and COGMED Certified Working Memory Training Coach at Cerulli and Associates.

Rina’s practical experience in engineering brings meaningful application of abstract mathematical and science concepts in her teaching career. In addition to teaching full time, Rina tutors math and science to students of all levels with diverse educational plans. Being trained in differentiated instruction, Rina targets the multiple intelligences and learning styles in a diverse population of analytical, auditory, visual, tactile, and kinesthetic learners. She is also certified by the Massachusetts Department of Secondary Education for instruction of English Language Learners in Categories I, II, III, and IV.

Becoming a Cogmed Certified Coach has been rewarding for Rina, as she enjoys utilizing new tools to enhance working memory skills and improve learning at all ages. Rina is currently working toward her Masters in Secondary Education.
